In the top 100: Roughly 50/50 split between individual creators/family channels and corporate brands (music labels, TV networks, media companies).

From rank 100–300: Individual creators become the majority. This is where you find gaming channels, education creators, lifestyle vloggers, and format-specific content at its ceiling.

From rank 300–500: The list becomes much more geographically diverse. Regional TV networks, national language creators, and niche sports channels fill out this range.

The channels that have remained consistent in the top 500 over the last 5 years all share one thing: they found a format that works and repeated it relentlessly. MrBeast's format. Cocomelon's format. T-Series' format. Each one is extremely clear about what they make and who they make it for.

The channels that have dropped out of the top 500 over the same period all share a different trait: they chased trends rather than owning a format. Channels that went from gaming to vlogs to commentary to challenges - without building a coherent identity - saw their subscriber growth plateau and then slowly erode.

The top 500 isn't aspirational in the same way the top 10 is. The top 500 is achievable with the right niche, the right format, and 7–10 years of consistent execution. The channels at rank 400–500 are proof of that.
